My name is Emmy. In the good ole' year 2020, I graduated from The Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Sequential Art and a Minor in Storyboarding. The cosmic timing on entering the professional realm left a bit to be desired, but I'm glad to be here now.
A friend recently commissioned me to illustrate some words for a film that she's producing. She described a conversation she had with the director before they chose me for the project:
"Emmy's gotta do it! She's insane!"
I really like that I'm the insane person she thought of. It made me feel really good that she knew me that way. Of course, she only told me this after I'd come up with the concept for this monstrosity:
